Part four in the "Month of Outfits" series is actually three months worth of outfits - it's summertime and I'm behind! I say it every year - I'm a fall/winter fashion girl through and through. 2023 is the first year in my entire life that I am loving getting dressed in the summertime. Of course, everything looks better when I'm a little bit sunkissed, but the neons and bold patterns that are all over the place this summer have made my heart so happy when I look at my closet. I have embraced bold …
What I Read in July
Can I be honest for a second? Some months come with major book slumps - that’s just how it is. I know it doesn’t look like a book slump month when I finished nine books, but if I’m telling the honest truth, 8 out of these 9 books were on audio! I only picked up one physical book all month long (on the very last day of the month, no less)! I say that as a reminder that reading is reading is reading (audiobooks do count!), and not all months are the same. I Have Some Questions for You …
What I Read in June
June was the month of tomes and beach reads. I was about 50/50 on physical versus audiobooks this month, but the audiobooks that I listened to just all happened to be HUGE. I ended the month at over 123 hours of audio listened to, which is just insane! Otherwise, we had our first beach trip of the summer (we have one more coming in August), so I spend some gooood time reading in the sand! Summer reading is where I truly thrive, and I’m just so happy for a few sunny days at the beach to round out …
A Month of Outfits: April
Welcome to part three of my new series: A Month of Outfits! Warmer weather is here, my freckles are back, and I'm coming back to life! I usually much prefer winter outfits to summertime, but the bright colors and fun dresses this year are calling my name. With Easter, some bridal showers, work, and other miscellaneous events throughout the month, I had plenty of opportunities to get dressed up (and somehow actually remembered to document most of it). Almost everything is old or from Old Navy …
What I Read in May
May was a full month - Scottsdale trip, bridal shower, Memorial Day, a full work schedule, going to see Hadestown, book clubs, and everything in between! While it was busy, I made sure to get lots of good reading in during my downtime! This is the most I have ever read this early in the year - I’m feeling like I’m on track for my biggest reading year yet, and I’m not mad about it! The Life Council by Laura Tremaine - 5 Stars I have followed Laura Tremaine for years now, and I always …
