The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
-Numbers 6:24-26

Continuing on with the Fruit of the Spirit Instagram Challenge, after joy comes PEACE! Peace, rest, stillness, calm. I think this theme of slowing down and finding peace in the Lord is something that’s on the hearts of so many in today’s fast-paced world. We are constantly taking in information from every direction – constantly barraged with an onslaught of opinions, news, gossip, pictures, captions, ideas. And sometimes the worries and anxieties and overwhelm can be crippling. Lately it’s all I can do to stay above water before another wave of fears/worries/anxieties/insecurities hits me and I’m scrambling again to fight against all of the things floating around in my head. I am constantly praying and asking for the peace that can only come from the One who created you and me – the One who holds us all in His hand.

Today, I get to share an absolutely beautiful download with all of you that are participating in this life-giving challenge with Art and Soul. She’s created a special art print just for you! Print out this beautiful scripture and hang it up somewhere as a reminder of the fruits that the Lord has blessed us with and that we must strive for every day. Save it as your phone’s wallpaper as a constant reminder, put it up on your bathroom mirror, or frame it and display it in your home!

This week’s verses are all centered around the theme of peace, and they’re so important to remember whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed and in need of assurance from the Father. I’ve found it helpful to create a space in your day that is solely for the act of seeking peace from Him. Whether it’s first thing in the morning, on your lunch break, right before bed, or somewhere in between, make room for Him and ask Him to bring you peace – no matter your circumstances.
Now here’s a wrap-up of last week’s scriptures on JOY!

Oh I love the top photo…The Lord bless and keep you….that song was sung as we headed back down the aisle. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary.
That gave me all the feels…
Oh I love that so much! Thank you for sharing, and happy anniversary!
