Since we’re almost into March, I figured it was time to share my 2021 goals here so I can hold myself accountable! Last year, I had goals centered around faith, reading, health, finances, relationships, and personal development. If we’ve all learned anything at all in the last year, it’s that we truly have zero control over anything, and no matter how much we plan, it’s all in God’s hands. That being said, I created some loose goals centered around these same topics, and I am aiming to complete them while also reminding myself that God is in control, and if things go totally off the rails again, it’s okay.
I am always striving and learning and growing to become the best version of myself that I can be – for me, my family, and others. So my goals will always shift and change, and of course, some are personal things that I won’t be sharing here. Below are three major focuses for me in 2021 that I want you to hold me accountable on!
Read 52 books.
I think I will always have this goal for the rest of my life. I love reading, and there are just way too many books in the world that I want to read to slow down in that department anytime soon! I would love to prioritize books that I already own on my shelves as well as books about faith and relationships, but overall I just want to read as many good books as possible!
Make exercising a habit.
I fell in love with daily walks around the neighborhood in 2020, and I want to continue that this year. It has been so good for my mental health, my physical health, and my audiobook habit. I also have really loved getting back into Hotworx, and hope to continue that, as well!
Grow deeper in my faith.
2020 was a year of growth for me. And I hope that 2021 is even more of that! I have been digging into books about prayer and faith and relationships heavily in the last few months and learning so many new things about God and myself. It has been so freeing, and I hope to just continue building upon that foundation this year.
