I used to binge podcasts every single day of my life – on my commute, lunch breaks, drives, getting ready, etc. And then I discovered the Libby app and have been binging audiobooks for the last two years (when I get obsessed with something, I go all in). But I’m back on the podcast train now, and wanted to share some of my favorite shows again since I’ve found some new-to-me ones in the last few months! You can find my previous favorite podcast lists here and here.

The Lazy Genius with Kendra Adachi
Where has this podcast been all my life?! I started following Kendra (@thelazygenius) on Instagram in 2020 after seeing Jamie Golden mention her at some point, and I have been obsessed with her content ever since. Her mission is to help you be genius about the things that matter so that you can be lazy about the things that don’t, and I have learned so much from her already on such a range of topics from cleaning the kitchen to moving to getting dressed to buying gifts and everything in between. Go listen!
Loving Your Husband Before You Even Have One with Kim Vollendorf and Adrienne Mathews
This is a relatively new podcast that doesn’t have a ton of episodes yet, but what they have released so far is so good. Kim and Adrienne talk to people about real life and how to grow as an individual and how to grow in your relationship with God. The podcast emerged after Kim released her book, with the same name, a few years ago, and her message is so wonderful. (ALSO – I haven’t announced this anywhere publicly, but I may or may not have recently gotten to sit down with Kim and Adrienne to be a guest on said podcast – WILD!)
I have loved following Emily Ley for a long time! She runs a planner company (also called Simplified), but she has such a wealth of knowledge around just how to simplify life. I love following along as they do the Simplified Cleanout every few months to reset your home and your heart and clear out all of the clutter. This podcast is also very new, but I’m excited to see where it’s headed.
10 Things to Tell You with Laura Tremaine
I just recently started listening to Laura Tremaine’s podcast after my mom recommended I listen to a few episodes. I love the diversity in her topics and how authentic and relatable it all feels. I just listened to an episode from last fall about documenting the time that we’re in right now (we’re living in history, people!) and it inspired me with so many ideas on how to remember and document the last year to look back on and share with others later on.
Made for This with Jennie Allen
Jennie Allen is so good at what she does! I hated not being able to attend IF Gathering in person this year, but listening to her show weekly brings me the same encouragement and inspiration that her conference brings, as well. Jennie handles hard and heavy topics with grace and relatability that makes you realize that you’re not alone, and we’re all dealing with things. I just recently finished her book Get Out of Your Head, and I loved her podcast series on the book, also.
Honorable Mention: In God We Lust
I hate the name of this podcast… but it was recommended to me by my friend and fellow podcast lover Angela, and it is so interesting. It covers the entire scandal of Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University, that unfolded in 2020. If you haven’t heard all of the allegations and interviews that cover the university scandal, I won’t give anything away for you, but you should give it a listen. It’s only a six episode series, so it’s a quick listen!
Try The Next Right Thing by Emily P Freeman about decision making and being in God’s will. Start from week 1
Also, Andy Stanley has Your Move. I love this so much. I beg my kids to listen to him. Great advice. You can choose any one of the episodes randomly. He is real and down to earth. He also has a leadership podcast that is great. It has topics like how to lead when you aren’t the leader and such.
I’m planning on reading The Next Right Thing on vacation next week!!
