I kicked off April with a bang when I read The Housemaid for my book club - it sucked me in from the very beginning and made me want to read every single book I could get my hands on! Last April I didn’t read a single book, so this year was a fun switch, and I’m happy to say that the momentum has continued into May! I have read so many wonderful books lately, so I hope you find a few new titles to add to your TBR from what I read in April. The Housemaid by Freida McFadden - 5 …
A Month of Outfits: March 2023
Welcome to part two in my new series: A Month of Outfits! I’m doing this series for a couple of reasons: to document and remember the outfits I’m wearing every season, to challenge myself to get dressed and document more of my days (even if it’s just a casual activewear fit), and to remind myself that I do, in fact, have cute clothes in my closet that I love. I definitely didn’t document as much as I would have liked in March (the excuse of going to the gym before work comes back into play), but …
What I Read in March
March was the month of audiobooks!! The discovery of the great Las Vegas Clark County library card made binging audiobooks a dream for me, but alas, all good things must come to an end. I would make outfit guides for game day and holidays, and it was truly so fun coming up with new ways to style what I already had. Nowadays, the world is relatively “back to normal” if there is such a thing, and I’m feeling …
Books I’m Excited to (Maybe) Read in Q1
2023 is the year where I get back to reading physical books consistently - I can feel it. The last few years I fell into mostly listening to audiobooks and then binging like 2 books a day on vacations and there was no in between. I love picking up a physical book, but my addiction to my phone caused me to scroll endlessly rather than ever reading a page. So I have a list of books - most of them sitting on my shelves already just waiting to be picked up - that I can’t wait to jump into at the …
