There is no doubt about it – I am a beach girl. I started packing for our honeymoon trip about three months before it even happened – so early, in fact, that we actually had to cancel and re-book our trip to a different country in that time span. I just love the beach. So when we got the opportunity to go down to 30A for a few days with Evan’s family in the middle of the busiest season of our lives, I said heck yes! and immediately started putting together my packing list for a weekend in 30A.
We love the 30A area – the beaches, the food, the shopping, the atmosphere. We arrived on Saturday and were planning to leave on Wednesday to head home, but Hurricane Sally dropped in and changed up our plans. We got one full, beautiful day on the beach before the storms rolled in, and then it was rain, thunder and lightning, huge waves (for Florida, that is), closed beaches, and lots and lots of indoor time.
It was still such a fun trip, despite the weather, and we got to make so many fun memories with Evan’s family. I only got dressed up once to go to dinner, and the rest of the time we stayed in our comfies in the condo (and I was not gonna complain about that!), but I still wanted to share my packing list for a weekend in 30A here! I can always look back at it next year, instead!
