Evan and I just spent the long weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. We had planned the trip back in November, but had to push it out, and I’m so glad we waited until we had more time off to really make the most of it. We’re coming up on one year of marriage, so it was almost like a mini anniversary trip! Weekend in 30A Packing List
There is no doubt about it - I am a beach girl. I started packing for our honeymoon trip about three months before it even happened - so early, in fact, that we actually had to cancel and re-book our trip to a different country in that time span. I just love the beach. So when we got the opportunity to go down to 30A for a few days with Evan's family in the middle of the busiest season of our lives, I said heck yes! and immediately started putting together my packing list for a weekend in …
Disney Parks Backpack Essentials
Planning a Disney trip is so fun and exciting! You get to schedule dinner reservations and Fast Passes, choose where you'll stay, and plan your trek around the parks. After daily afternoon naps (because Disney World is no joke), that 2pm meeting at the office was more difficult than I expected. For that reason, I’ve started working on my foolproof plan for getting back to …
Snapshots from 30A
There is almost nothing I love more than a trip to the beach, unless it’s a trip to the beach with my favorite people. I got to spend last week at the cutest house on Inlet Beach, with my family and family friends, lots of books, lots of pimento cheese, lots of crab cakes, and lots of aloe. I think it was the most time I’ve ever spent on the beach in one trip - we were out there from 9-4 with a little lunch break in between - and I was wishing we could stay forever. I’m writing up a post with …
